Ahoi Mata Aarti ·
"Jai Ahoi Mata", the aarti sung on Ahoi Ashtami, when mothers fast for the well-being of their children.
tumko nisdin dhyavat har vishnu vidhata ||
jaya ahoī mātā jaya ahoī mātā । tumako nisadina dhyāvata hara viṣṇu vidhātā ॥
Victory to Ahoi Mata, victory to Ahoi Mata; Hara, Vishnu and Brahma meditate on you night and day.
surya-chandrama dhyavat narad rishi gata ||
brahmāṇī rudrāṇī kamalā tū hī hai jagamātā । sūrya-candramā dhyāvata nārada ṛṣi gātā ॥
You are Brahmani, Rudrani and Kamala, mother of the world; the sun and moon meditate on you, and the sage Narada sings of you.
jo koi tumko dhyavat nit mangal pata ||
mātā rūpa niraṃjana sukha-sampatti dātā । jo koī tumako dhyāvata nita maṃgala pātā ॥
Mother, spotless in form, giver of happiness and wealth; whoever meditates on you gains blessings every day.
karm-prabhav prakashak jaganidhi se trata ||
tū hī pātāla basaṃtī tū hī hai śubhadātā । karma-prabhāva prakāśaka jaganidhi se trātā ॥
You dwell in the underworld, you are the giver of good; you reveal the effects of karma and protect us with the treasure of the world.
जिस घर थारो वासा वाहि में गुण आता ।jis ghar tharo vasa vahi men gun ata |कर न सके सोई कर ले मन नहीं धड़काता ॥kar na sake soi kar le man nahin dharakata ||
jisa ghara thāro vāsā vāhi meṃ guṇa ātā । kara na sake soī kara le mana nahīṃ dhaṙakātā ॥
In whatever home you dwell, virtue comes; one can do even what one could not, and the heart does not tremble.

tuma bina sukha na hove na koī putra pātā । khāna-pāna kā vaibhava tuma bina nahīṃ ātā ॥
Without you there is no happiness, no one gains a son, and there is no plenty of food and drink.
ratan chaturdash toku koi nahin pata ||
śubha guṇa suṃdara yuktā kṣīra nidhi jātā । ratana caturdaśa tokū koī nahīṃ pātā ॥
Full of auspicious virtues and beauty, born of the ocean of milk; no one can obtain the fourteen jewels (of the churning) without you.
shri ahoi man ki arti jo koi gata |उर उमंग अति उपजे पाप उतर जाता ॥ur umang ati upje pap utar jata ||
śrī ahoī mām̐ kī āratī jo koī gātā । ura umaṃga ati upaje pāpa utara jātā ॥
