जय लक्ष्मी रमणा स्वामी जय लक्ष्मी रमणा । सत्यनारायण स्वामी जन पातक हरणा ॥
jaya lakṣmī ramaṇā svāmī jaya lakṣmī ramaṇā । satyanārāyaṇa svāmī jana pātaka haraṇā ॥
लक्ष्मी-रमण की जय हो! हे स्वामी, लक्ष्मी-रमण की जय हो! हे सत्यनारायण स्वामी, आप लोगों के पाप हरने वाले हैं।
Victory to the beloved of Lakshmi! O Lord, victory to the beloved of Lakshmi! Lord Satyanarayan, remover of the sins of his people.

ratna jaṙita siṃhāsana adbhuta chavi rājai । nārada karata nirājana ghaṃṭā dhvani bāje ॥
रत्नजड़ित सिंहासन पर आपकी छवि अद्भुत शोभा पाती है; नारद मुनि आपकी आरती करते हैं और घंटों की ध्वनि गूँजती है।
On a jewelled throne your form shines wondrously; the sage Narada performs your aarti and the bells ring out.

प्रगट भये कलि कारण द्विज को दर्श दियो । बूढ़ो ब्राह्मण बनकर कंचन महल कियो ॥
pragaṭa bhaye kali kāraṇa dvija ko darśa diyo । būṙho brāhmaṇa banakara kaṃcana mahala kiyo ॥
कलियुग के कारण आप प्रकट हुए और एक ब्राह्मण को दर्शन दिए; बूढ़े ब्राह्मण का रूप धरकर आपने (उसका घर) सोने का महल बना दिया।
You appeared for the sake of the Kali age and gave darshan to a brahmin; taking the form of an old brahmin, you made (his home) a palace of gold.

दुर्बल भील कठारो जिन पर कृपा करी । चन्द्रचूड़ एक राजा तिनकी विपत्ति हरी ॥
durbala bhīla kaṭhāro jina para kṛpā karī । candracūṙa eka rājā tinakī vipatti harī ॥
आपने दुर्बल भील लकड़हारे पर कृपा की, और चंद्रचूड़ नाम के राजा की विपत्ति हर ली।
You showed grace to the poor Bhil woodcutter, and took away the troubles of King Chandrachud.

वैश्य मनोरथ पायो श्रद्धा तज दीन्ही । सो फल भोग्यो प्रभुजी फिर-स्तुति कीन्हीं ॥
vaiśya manoratha pāyo śraddhā taja dīnhī । so phala bhogyo prabhujī phira-stuti kīnhīṃ ॥
वैश्य ने मनोरथ पाया पर फिर श्रद्धा छोड़ दी; हे प्रभु, उसने उसका फल भोगा और फिर आपकी स्तुति की।
The merchant gained his wish but then abandoned his faith; he suffered the result, O Lord, and then sang your praise.

भाव भक्ति के कारण छिन-छिन रूप धरयो । श्रद्धा धारण कीनी तिनको काज सरयो ॥
bhāva bhakti ke kāraṇa china-china rūpa dharayo । śraddhā dhāraṇa kīnī tinako kāja sarayo ॥
भाव और भक्ति के कारण आपने क्षण-क्षण में रूप धारण किए; जिन्होंने श्रद्धा रखी, उनके काम सफल हुए।
For the sake of loving devotion you took form again and again; whoever held to faith had their work accomplished.

ग्वाल बाल संग राजा वन में भक्ति करी । मनवांछित फल दीन्हों दीनदयाल हरी ॥
gvāla bāla saṃga rājā vana meṃ bhakti karī । manavāṃchita phala dīnhoṃ dīnadayāla harī ॥
राजा ने ग्वाल-बालों के साथ वन में भक्ति की; दीनदयाल हरि ने उसे मनवांछित फल दिया।
The king worshipped in the forest together with the cowherd boys; Hari, kind to the humble, gave him the fruit he desired.
ॐ जय लक्ष्मी रमणा स्वामी जय लक्ष्मी रमणा ॥

चढ़त प्रसाद सवायो कदली फल मेवा । धूप दीप तुलसी से राजी सत्यदेवा ॥
caṙhata prasāda savāyo kadalī phala mevā । dhūpa dīpa tulasī se rājī satyadevā ॥
सवाया प्रसाद, केला, फल और मेवा चढ़ाया जाता है; धूप, दीप और तुलसी से सत्यदेव प्रसन्न होते हैं।
Prasad of one and a quarter measures, bananas, fruit and dry fruit are offered; Satyadev is pleased with incense, lamp and tulsi.

श्री सत्यनारायण जी की आरती जो कोई नर गावै । ऋद्धि-सिद्ध सुख-संपत्ति सहज रूप पावे ॥
śrī satyanārāyaṇa jī kī āratī jo koī nara gāvai । ṛddhi-siddha sukha-saṃpatti sahaja rūpa pāve ॥
जो कोई श्री सत्यनारायण जी की यह आरती गाता है, वह सहज ही ऋद्धि-सिद्धि, सुख और संपत्ति पाता है।
Whoever sings this aarti of Shri Satyanarayan easily gains prosperity, success, happiness and wealth.
About this text
Jai Lakshmi Ramana is the Hindi aarti to Satyanarayan, the form of Vishnu worshipped in the Satyanarayan Katha. After praising him as Lakshmi's beloved seated on a jewelled throne, it retells the katha in a few lines: he appeared to a poor brahmin in the guise of an old brahmin, blessed a poor woodcutter, relieved King Chandrachud, fulfilled a merchant's wish and humbled him when he lost faith, and rewarded a king who worshipped with cowherd boys in the forest. The closing stanza names the offerings (prasad, bananas, dry fruit, incense, lamp and tulsi). Some editions end instead with a line naming Shivanand Swami as the singer. The refrain "Om jai Lakshmi Ramana" follows each stanza.
How it is recited
It is sung at the end of the Satyanarayan Puja and Katha, commonly on Purnima or after a family milestone, while waving a lamp; prasad is then distributed. Customs vary.
