आरती कीजै श्री रघुवर जी की सत चित आनंद शिव सुंदर की । दशरथ तनय कौशल्या नन्दन सुर मुनि रक्षक दैत्य निकन्दन । अनुगत भक्त भक्त उर चन्दन मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम वर की ॥

श्री रघुवर (राम) जी की आरती कीजिए, जो सत्-चित्-आनंद, शिव और सुंदर हैं। वे दशरथ के पुत्र, कौशल्या के आनंद, देवताओं और मुनियों के रक्षक और दैत्यों के संहारक हैं; अनुगामी भक्तों के हृदय के लिए चंदन (के समान शीतल) हैं, श्रेष्ठ मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम हैं।

Perform the aarti of Shri Raghuvar (Ram), who is truth, consciousness and bliss, auspicious and beautiful. Son of Dasharath, delight of Kaushalya, protector of gods and sages, destroyer of demons; sandal-paste to the hearts of his devoted followers, the noblest Maryada Purushottam.

निर्गुण सगुण अनूप रूप निधि सकल लोक वन्दित विभिन्न विधि । हरण शोक-भय दायक नव निधि माया रहित दिव्य नर वर की ॥

nirgun sagun anup rup nidhi sakal lok vandit vibhinn vidhi | haran shoka-bhay dayak nav nidhi maya rahit divy nar var ki ||

वे निर्गुण भी हैं और सगुण भी, अनुपम रूप के भंडार हैं, सब लोकों में अनेक विधियों से पूजे जाते हैं; शोक और भय हरने वाले, नौ निधियाँ देने वाले, माया से रहित दिव्य श्रेष्ठ पुरुष हैं।

Without attributes and with attributes, a treasury of matchless beauty, worshipped in many ways by all the worlds; remover of grief and fear, giver of the nine treasures, the divine best of men, free of illusion.

जानकी पति सुर अधिपति जगपति अखिल लोक पालक त्रिलोक गति । विश्व वन्द्य अवन्ह अमित गति एक मात्र गति सचराचर की ॥

janaki pati sur adhipati jagapati akhil lok palak trilok gati | vishv vandy avanh amit gati ek matr gati sacharachar ki ||

वे जानकी के पति, देवताओं के अधिपति और जगत के स्वामी हैं, सब लोकों के पालक और तीनों लोकों की गति (आश्रय) हैं; विश्व-वंदनीय, अपार गति वाले और समस्त चर-अचर के एकमात्र आश्रय हैं।

Husband of Janaki, lord of the gods and of the world, sustainer of all the worlds and refuge of the three worlds; revered by the universe, of boundless reach, the one refuge of all that moves and does not move.

शरणागत वत्सल व्रतधारी भक्त कल्प तरुवर असुरारी । नाम लेत जग पावनकारी वानर सखा दीन दुख हर की ॥

sharanagat vatsal vratadhari bhakt kalp taruvar asurari | nam let jag pavanakari vanar sakha din dukh har ki ||

वे शरणागतों पर स्नेह रखने वाले, व्रत के पक्के, भक्तों के लिए कल्पवृक्ष और असुरों के शत्रु हैं; उनका नाम लेने से संसार पवित्र होता है। वे वानरों के सखा और दीनों के दुख हरने वाले हैं।

Loving to those who take refuge, true to his vow, a wish-fulfilling tree for devotees, enemy of the demons; taking his name purifies the world. He is the friend of the monkeys and the remover of the sorrows of the humble.
