विपत्तियों को हरने वाले, सब संपदाओं के दाता, संसार को आनंद देने वाले श्रीराम को मैं बार-बार नमस्कार करता हूँ।
Again and again I bow to Shri Ram, the remover of calamities, the giver of all wealth, the delight of the world.

About this text
This page gathers four widely chanted prayers to Ram. Shri Ram jai Ram jai jai Ram is the thirteen-syllable name chant, sung in kirtan and written in Ram-naam books. Rama rameti, in which Shiva tells Parvati that the single name of Ram equals the thousand names of Vishnu, is the closing verse of the Ram Raksha Stotra and is often recited instead of the Vishnu Sahasranamam. Apadam apahartaram (remover of calamities, giver of all wealth) also comes from the Ram Raksha Stotra, and Ramaya Ramabhadraya salutes Ram under several of his names as the husband of Sita. Each prayer has been compared separately against independent editions.
How it is recited
The name chant is sung in kirtan or repeated on a mala; the verses are recited in daily worship and on Ram Navami. Rama rameti is traditionally said three times. Customs vary.
